Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel. "This particular bag is the medium size of the collection and features rubber trim, quilted CC logo, and a long antique chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag. Current retail price is $7200.
The exterior leather is clean and beautiful but has minor scuffs and wear along the glazed edges. The shoulder strap is lightly creased. The hardware is bright and shiny with faint hairline scratches. The interior has creasing but is clean and remains in great condition.
