Saint Laurent Paris is the rebranded version of the house of Yves Saint Laurent with creative director Hedi Slimane at the helm. The Saint Laurent Classic Cabas Y Top Handle Bag is an updated version of the Cabas ChYc bag that became an "IT" bag among fashionista's. This beautiful hot pink calfskin leather bag comes with the classic 'Y' closure buckle, goldtone zipper pulls with the Saint Laurent logo, and an external leather key pouch. A spacious interior combines suede and leather with two flat pockets and one large zipper pocket. Current retail price is $1895.
The exterior leather is clean but has creasing, slouching, and the leather appears to be re-dyed by the previous owner. The glazing has some light soiling. The handles remain smooth. The hardware has hairline scratches but remains shiny. The interior has some rubbing and signs of use but is altogether clean and in great condition.
