If you said the words "Scandi style," there are a number of fashion brands that might come to mind. For me, Other Stories is surely one of them. A reliable go-to for all your modern minimalist needs, it's a brand that sure knows how to keep us fashion editors happy. Well, its pre-spring 2021 collection has just dropped, and let's just say their place in the Scandi fashion hall of fame shows no sign of disappearing.
This collection is essentially a distillation of everything we love about Other Stories: Think easy layers, nonchalant silhouettes, and plenty of neutral colourways. Thanks to its mix-and-match approach, every item can be interchanged and worn together within the edit. We love the idea of layering, for example, a collared top under a knitted vest with a cream puffer thrown over the top. Essentially, it's a tonal dresser's dream. There is also a well-edited collection of versatile accessories that can be added to any outfit, such as chunky boots (wear with both dresses and denim) and fine-chain jewellery.
With home-working sticking around for the foreseeable future, this is a spring edit that actually caters to our current wardrobe needs.
