The Secret Nordstrom Section that Makes You Feel Like You're Shopping at a Cool Concept Store
As someone who’s a long-time Nordstrom customer, one thing that I’ve always appreciated about it is the curation—so many of the brands I love, all in one place. With sheer amount of inventory, I was especially excited when I first found out about its in-house boutique, Space—dedicated corner for brand discovery.
I admire its filtered-down approach to highlighting independent designers, such as Courrèges, Eckhaus Latta, Jaquemus, Paloma Wool, Sandy Liang, Vaquera, and more. It feels like my own little treasure trove of handpicked items, almost like shopping at a concept store. Similar to Ssense, I treat it as a reliable source for finding niche, unique pieces.
With a mix of ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, jewelry, and accessories, I even like just browsing through it when I want to feel inspired.
Below, a roundup of my current favorite selections in the section—from Connor Ives to Paolina Russo.
Associate Fashion Editor Kerane Marcellus recently wrote about how shirred shirts are trending, and I'm such a fan of the designer Connor Ives.
