I'm a Fashion Editor in NYC—Here's What I'd Buy From the Nordstrom Fall Sale
As a shopping editor, I'd like to think that I've perfected my approach to sifting through sales to find what's actually worth buying. With Nordstrom's Fall Sale happening now through October 28 and offering up to 50% off, I decided to take a look. Big seasonal events like this can be overwhelming (hundreds of pages, endless markdowns), so I always start by narrowing my focus to what I wear the most.
When it comes to any major sale, I focus on elevated basics—aka timeless pieces that I'll reach for over and over again. This time, a few standouts immediately caught my eye: Nordstrom-brand cashmere sweaters that make it easy to feel put together and cozy in cooler months, classic G.H. Bass loafers that never go out of style, and cult-favorite Camper Mary Janes that have been on my wish list for a while. I also spotted discounts on Levi's jeans, a sleek Coach shoulder bag, and even Tory Burch flats.
Below, I've rounded up the items to see before the sale ends.
