The Celine Triomphe Bag is launched as part of the Celine Spring/Summer 2019 Collection. This is one of the first iconic bags designed by Hedi Slimane after he took the lead in Celine. The Triomphe logo with interlocking double C is not a new design, it was originally created in 1973 by the founder Celine Vipiana, when she took note of the chain encircling on the the Arc de Triomphe monument in Paris. The name “Triomphe” means in French “Triumph” and it means Victory. More over, the craftsmanship of this bag is quite sophisticated, it is composed of 89 individual pieces of leather and hardware.
