Does Chanel raise the price this month in France?
No annoucement yet or rumors, so we don’t expect them to increase in prices.
I am in Italy right now and just purchased two chanel. A woc patented calfskin in gray purchased in Rome 1200 euro and they had nothing else in there I liked. (Reissue I believe as it does not have the double c logo) and in Florence a classic flap bag small in chanel red with the retro clasp. 2470 euro. Had to say my sales lady found me the red one way in back somewhere and am glad she did because there were a few others swooning over it :). They return roughly 17% vat on both purchase! Also have to say I am not fond of the new flap bag. The top portion where the chain hangs doesn’t appeal to me. It’s quite awkward looking its 1600 euro for the small and 1750 for the other size.
Sorry meant mini on the retro clasp.

Hi Alex the tax refund on the voucher is from premier tax. They already calculate the amount to be refunded in the form to mail in. The woc is 14% and 17% on the flap bag. Yes mini with retro clasp. It came in black , the same blue as the new flap with interlaced chain and the red. They I guess raised prices on the mini as the reg classics mini is usually only about $2000 usd. This one if converted i paid $2900 or 2470 euro.
Haha I’m horrible at converting. With the vat refund it’s $3300 or 2470 euro. With the vat refund $2900. Seems a lot for the mini. I would have opted for the small size one but they didn’t have it in the store.
Also just FYI the blue interlaced bag you have on the page is 1600 euro and the red is 1750 euro.
Do you also happen to know how much the small and medium size of the new flap bag with retro lock is? the one in pink and black on the top.
I also heard there was a price increase, but it’s strange that one bag is 14% tax refund and the other 17%. It should be even right? Thanks for the prices, we just posted the bag with interlaced chain.
The vat increased from 21% to 22%. I was wondering if the difference was because I purchased one in Rome and one in Florence? Sorry unsure of the prices with the retro clasp as I didn’t even see those sizes u posted. I only saw the size I got which I’m thinking is the mini but may very well be the small size. I can email you a picture. It came in the red, blue and black. I did not see the pink at all.
Hi Jasmine, yes, different countries in EU carries different VAT. But 1% is too little to clarify the huge VAT return. I am glad you got 17% btw.

Hi, is there any update on the price of the chanel flap bag in retro chanel clasp.
I’d like to know the price in Paris.
In July, I first purchased the classic flap in black/gold size small lambskin. It was beautiful! However, something about the size and style wasn’t working for me. I couldn’t put my finger on it until I saw the new lambskin flap with the retro clasp in black! I exchanged my small classic for the retro and I am IN LOVE! It is everything you want in a bag: perfect for day and night, roomier than the classic, and it has the classic look with the quilting plus an added twist. In all, it’s modern and classic at the same time. It comes in two sizes with the larger priced at 4200, lambskin. My opinion, try something different and go for the retro clasp! There are already plenty of boy Chanel’s and classic flaps out there ;))

I also totally adore the Chanel Flap Bag in Lambskin with Retro Chanel Clasp. Is the price the same as ordinary classic flaps. Do that come in anything more durable than lamb skin? Because I am a pretty clumbsy.

And almost all of the boy bags are seasonal, Chanel releases new styles every season. Majority of the f/w 2013 collection are boy bags.
And about the Chanel flap bag in retro Chanel clasp, we are not sure yet about the price. But it should be at the level of the classic flap bags or cheaper. And as far as we know, it’s available in lambskin. We will keep you update if we find it in caviar.
