Zieta is best known for his collection of stools “Plopp” made through the technologist Fidu. With the same principle Zieta Prozessdesign conceived mirror collections made of stainless steel called “Tafla”, “Rondo” and “Rondel”. Two laser-cut metal sheets are first welded together before air is injected between them until they separate from each other forming a three-dimensional object.
OKO from the Gradient Collection is an attractive mirror in colour. The lacquered steel – thanks to the FiDU forming method and the unique way of covering it with colour – gains an aspect of a precious gem. Additionally, just like the OKO Mirror Inox, its round surface delicately reflects light and interacts with other objects in an interior.
It is said that the eyes are the mirror of the soul. Therefore, OKO could be the soul of the space in which it is located. The world seen by OKO is a world of expressive deformations from another side of a sphere: uneasy, but also romantic in a way.

TAFLA O series is characterized by smooth, optically light shapes inspired by liquid droplets and thanks to its unique form, combines the world of design, art and technology. TAFLA collection is a radical step towards such transformations. Mirrors made with FiDU technology are a result of free deformation caused by high internal pressure. This process creates objects of great durability yet of subtle structure.
Available in emerald color, sapphire color, gradient of emerlad and sapphire color, dark matter color, and deep space blue color.
About the artist/ designer:
Oskar Zieta – an architect, designer, artist and innovator. Born in 1975, after he graduated architecture at Szczecin University of Technology in 2000, he has got a scholarship at ETH Zurich. Over the course of 2 years of postgraduate studies he developed skills in parametric design and modern manufacturing technologies finalized with PhD graduation. Currently he runs the department of Industrial Design at School of Form. Laureate of many prestigious awards in design and technology. Inventor of FiDU - inner pressure metal forming technology - the keystone to Zieta Collection, Zieta Out of Ordinary as well as large scale sculptures like NAWA on Daliowa Island in Wroclaw and WIR in Galeria Pólnocna in Wroclaw.
