This fabulous necklace has been made in the shape of an articulated snake, crafted with parts made up in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with very high polished finish. The body is made with an arrangement of multiples graduated elements. Fitted with a customized hook as a closure lock.
Smoke Topaz: Mount in a thick knotted cord, with 104 graduated trillion cabochon cuts, carved from natural Smoky quartz, with a weight of 1,595.45 carats.
Weight: 368.90 grams (236.48 Dwt).
Size: Lenght of 36 inches (91.40 Cm).
Measures: The width is 45 mm (1.77 inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the italian assay mark for the warranty of the silver and signed, "ITALY .925 *97TR".

A prototype sculptural cuff bracelet, created in Paris France by the sculptor Paul Oudet, back in the 1970. This organic piece has been crafted as an unique piece in solid .800/.999 silver with gold gilt vermeil. The design consist of 2 gingko leaves attached to the ends of a curved free form element. This model probably created for the Galerie Claude de Muzac between 1968 and 1974.
This prototype piece is unusually crafted in gilt silver instead gild bronze that is the traditional metal used by the artist in his career.
Weight: 128.85 Grams, (82.59 Dwt).
Size: It is expandable, is sizeable and the actual size fit a neck up to 17 inches (43.20 Cm).
Measurements: The gingko leaves are 56 mm by 42 mm (2.20 x 1.65 Inches).
Hallmarks Stamped with French marks; the maker's mark P.O. inside a lozange cartouche associated to Paul Oudet, the mark of the crab for the 80% assay of the silver and signed, "PAUL OUDET".
Paul Oudet, is a Postwar & Contemporary French artist and sculptor. He created rare jewelry and objects for the Galerie Grotte of Claude de Muzac in Paris, circa 1970. After having brilliantly passed the Applied Arts and the Fine Arts, Paul Oudet at 25 is a young professor at the Fine Arts, architecture section. But perhaps because he is the son of a naval officer, or because he grew up facing the Louvre Museum, where he spent long hours in the countless galleries, he sets off to discover the distant lands of Asia and Central America. He returned to France at the end of the sixties. He works and uses his know-how and his long observations to develop a singular work around marine architecture and plant structures. Albert Loeb discovered him and presented his work in Paris from 1972. Throughout this decade and the next he continued his collaboration with his gallery owner and multiplied his experiences. He participates in the adventure of the gallery of the Carita sisters, rue Saint Honoré. He is also exhibited at the Jean-Pierre Hagenauer gallery, at Artcurial and his creations are also sold at Henri Bendel in New York. Then, it is the eye of the Princess de Broglie, Claude de Muzac, who captures the grace of her objects and shows them in her turn in her gallery, an institution of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Fantastic Oversized antique French brooch.
A very nice early French piece, created during the Georgian period, around the 1810's. Carefully crafted in solid .830/1000 sterling silver and suited at the reverse, with a hinged horizontal pin with a hook lock.
Is embellished, with a mix of larger quartz gems cuts and small simulated gemstones in paste.
Excellent workmanship with black dots and prong set on top of the silver with open backs.
Paste, is a gem like material made from a secret formula of leaded glass invented by George Ravenscroft, a 17th century London glassmaker and later perfected by George Strass, an 18th century French jeweler, designed to resemble precious gemstones.
This piece is pretty heavy and large with a total weight of 87.4 grams and a measures of 90 mm by 83 mm (3.52 by 3.28 inches).
Stamped, with multiples French hallmarks; three times with the maker's maitre cartouche and three times with the boar head, for the assay and guaranty of the .830 silver.
Note: This piece have remains of the original gilding in some parts of the reverse.

A highly important Austrian pendant-brooch in 19 Karats by Emil Biedermann (1830-1900).
An exceptionally rare and gorgeous over sized presentation cameo piece, created in Vienna in 1867 by Emil Biedermann. The Biedermann jewelry house, was located in the number 13 of the popular aristocratic Graben street. They was granted in 1850, by the emperor Franz Joseph I (1830-1916), with the Austrian Imperial House Warrant, appointing the jewelry house as the purveyors to the court and "Kammerlieferant" (Chamber Jeweler).
The company was founded by Michael Lazar Biedermann (born 1769 as Michael Lazar in Bratislava) who at fifteen, was apprenticed to an engraver in Vienna. He became a seal-engraver and adopted the name Biedermann in 1792. He was entrusted, with the engraving of the imperial seals and by 1800 was enabled to open a Jeweler's store in Vienna.
In the last years of his company, Emil Biedermann was also purveyor to the royal Serbian court and to the grand ducal Saxon court.
This piece feature a fabulous three-dimensional cameo piece, carved from a three layered of natural agate, with color's gradations; from translucent orange brown, opalescent gray, to frosted white.
The quality of the carving is exceptional, with intricate thorough details. For example, the ear and the incised lines of the hair are magnificent. The carving depicts, the dressed portrait bust of the classical Greek-Roman goddess, Diana the huntress, facing to the right. Most probably the model used, was the ancient sculpture at the Albertina Museum.
The fabulous mounting frame is crafted in solid rich yellow gold of 19 karats, with geometric Austrian elements. It is suited at the reverse, with a hinged horizontal pin to be wear as a brooch and a flexible removable discrete adapter to be used into a chain.
This piece have a total weight of 72.9 grams and a measures of 77 mm by 80 mm by 28 mm (3.03 x 3.15 x 1.1 inches).
The agate piece is signed at the reverse by the carver-cutter artist (unknown) and numbered 361.

A three-dimensional wearable sculptural piece, created in 1963-65 by the famous Italian architect and sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro. It was crafted, with architectural patterns and geometrics elements in solid 18 karats of textured yellow gold, with white gold accents.
This piece is composed by two parts; the articulated collar necklace and the intricate pendant-brooch. The collar has 6 free forms elements, attached together with several pins connectors and is suited with a curved boxed push lock.
The pendant can be used alone in a chain and can be also wear as a brooch, since is suited with a vertical hinged bar and a trombone lock for extra security.
The main element is embellished with 16 natural and not treated gemstones, described as follow; thirteen French squared cuts of red Burma rubies, with a weight of 1.95 carats and three straight baguettes cuts of vivid green Colombian emeralds, with a combined weight of 1 carat.
The total weight of this piece is 70.45 grams and the necklace have an inside diameter of 17.25 inches.
The main element has a measures of 97 mm (3.82 inches) height, by 55 mm (2.17 inches) width, by 8 mm (0.31 inch) thickness.
It is sign at the verso in full by the artist and dated, "Arnaldo Pomodoro 1963-65".
Arnaldo Pomodoro, born in Morciano, Italy in 1926, is a sculptor, stage designer and architect. Between the 1950 and 1954 he worked primarily as a jeweler and stage designer with his brother Gio Pomodoro in Pesaro, Italy and began his first work in relief, which are characterized by a rough surface quality with detailed vegetal organic forms. the fine detailing of his jewelry later appeared in his bronze monumental sculptures. He have 94 years and live in Milan, Italy.
In 1953 Arnaldo and Giò, together with their fellow artist and close friend, Giorgio Perfetti (1932- 1961), formed the “3p” group and produced original jewels and small reliefs, which were first exhibited that year in Pesaro. The following year they moved to Milan and opened a small studio in a basement in Via Visconti Di Modrone.
