This 1954 design is one of the outcomes of Wegner's ongoing search for the ideal chair. The curved organic shapes and the refined details make this chair a classic Wegner. He mainly worked with wood, making optimal use of the possibilities of the material.
The shapes of the CH30 Chair create a minimalist, elegant interplay of lines. The oval-shaped backrest slopes slightly backwards and offers good support for the back.
