Large Mid-Century Modern brutalist art glass bowl by Pertti Santalahti for Humppila Glass in Finland. Made ca. 1970s. The colors move from a brown earth like color to a warm amber color and finally to transparency like ice. The surface is very rough and structured like large broken pieces of ice. Very dramatic. The bowl wears the original Humppila sticker with the text: Humppila Handmade in Finland. It is hand signed to the bottom: "Pertti Santalahti" and "Humppila Finland" The bowl is in a very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks or repairs.
