A fine and unusual miniature carriage or boudoire clock in silver gilt and decorated with pink guilloche enamel on four sides, with fine engine turned design to the back, by Eterna. The enamel is perfect with no chips or damage, and the clock retains the gilding to the silver. The particularly unusual feature of this clock is that it is an alarm which is a very rare feature. More than this the alarm function has been fitted to a very fine 8 day 3/4 plate movement with 15 Jewels, with cut bimetallic balance and breguet overcoil balance spring. They depict two rural figures and are of a large scale.
