Temperanza by Ilaria Bianchi promotes emotional relationships with our objects and intimate spaces. A production limited to the essential, an ethical manufacturing cycle involving materials, ancient traditional techniques and new methodologies, such us the "applicator baby bottle” method, an innovative way to hand-glaze ceramics. Temperanza is hand-made in Grottaglie (Puglia) in the prestigious Franco Fasano’s workshop and hand-glazed by the designer Ilaria Bianchi. Each element is handmade and therefore unique, every difference is the trace of the artist who created it. Temperanza’s objects tell us stories, things were never just things, tools to solve functional activities. Most of the time they embody symbolic and metaphorical values. The first human beings lived immersed in an
"integrated" environment, devoid of a real separation between myth and nature. Temperanza offers small daily artworks created with a soul, which keep us company and reconnect us to the emotional power of objects, hoping to make our relationships with them more lasting and sustainable.
