A rare George III Neo Classical urn Pocket Nutmeg Grater made in Birmingham circa 1795 by Samuel Pemberton. The Nutmeg Grater is realistically modelled as a Neo Classical urn and is decorated with reeded bands and a band of fine beading on the domed, pull-off, cover. Once the cover is removed the silver rimmed steel grater is shown, which is also removable. The Grater is in excellent condition and is marked in the cover with SP for Samuel Pemberton of Birmingham.
