Antique Persian Silver Centerpiece Bowl – Hand-Engraved Qajar Court Scenes
Located in Media, PA
An exquisite antique Persian silver centerpiece bowl, meticulously hand-engraved in the Qajar style, featuring a series of deeply detailed scenes of musicians, poets, and courtly lovers surrounded by lush floral and architectural designs. Each vignette captures the elegance of Persian art and culture during the late 19th to early 20th century, showcasing remarkable craftsmanship and storytelling through silverwork. The bowl rests on an ornate pedestal base, fully decorated with chased scrolls and floral motifs, while the rim features a scalloped edge with intricate borders. The artistry throughout is of high quality, demonstrating traditional Persian techniques of repoussé and fine chasing. This piece is made of approximately 80–90% silver purity, typical of Persian silver from the Qajar to early Pahlavi periods, and bears a Persian hallmark on the base. It has been tested for silver and left with its original untouched patina, which enhances its historic authenticity and visual depth. Dimensions: 10 inches across × 9 inches tall Material: Solid Silver (approx. 80–90% purity, tested) Origin: Persia (Iran) Period: Late Qajar to Early Pahlavi, circa late 19th–early 20th century Condition: Very good antique condition; natural patina preserved, no repairs or major dents This is a museum-quality Persian silver centerpiece, representing the finest traditions of Qajar-era decorative metalwork — perfect for collectors of antique Islamic art...

Belleek Cabaret Tea Set for Two, Cream Grass Pattern, Victorian 1863-1891
Located in London, GB
This is a beautiful and very rare Belleek cabaret set in the Grass design, consisting of a teapot, two teacups and saucers, a milk jug and a lidded sugar bowl, all placed on a large tray. All items carry the 1st Black Mark, which was used between 1863 and 1891. It is extremely rare to come across an entire cabaret set of these antique items, particularly when in such fabulous condition, so this is a rare opportunity! If you ever thought Belleek fine china looks, sounds and feels unique, you are right. There is a back story to this extraordinarily fine Irish eggshell porcelain, which has an unusually high amount of "frit" and therefore is thinner and finer than any other china. Pottery in Belleek (in the now Northern-Irish area of Fermanagh) had started in 1849 with John Caldwell Bloomfield, who was a wealthy land owner. During the Irish famine...

Victorian Sterling Silver Gilt Goblet
Located in Jesmond, Newcastle Upon Tyne
An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian sterling silver gilt goblet; an addition to our wine and drinks related silverware collection. This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver gilt goblet has a circular bulbous-shaped form onto a swept pedestal and circular spreading foot. The body of this impressive antique silver goblet is encompassed with a central band of chased and engraved scrolling foliate and floral decoration, incorporating swan and vase ornamentation, all on a matte background. The decoration to the body incorporates an impressive cartouche displaying the contemporary bright cut engraved crest depicting between two arms embowed a sun in splendour. The cylindrical upper rim is encompassed with further scrolling leaf decoration, flanked with an applied dart decorated border to the nadir and a moulded border to the rim. The cast silver waisted pedestal features a spiralling bead design, incorporating scrolling motifs to the upper portion, replicating the details of an architectural column. The circular spreading foot is embellished with impressive cast figural mask designs alternating with layered leaf motifs, all ornamented with further bead decoration. The swept rim of the slightly weighted base is further ornamented with a leaf decorated festoon. This sterling silver goblet retains the original gilding; the gilding to the exterior of the goblet has worn with age in a sympathetic fashion. This exceptional goblet, crafted by the renowned silversmith Frederick Elkington of Elkington & Co, is the finest of its type you could hope to acquire. Condition This antique 1870s silver gilt goblet is a magnificent gauge of silver, magnificent quality and in magnificent condition. The chased decoration is all very sharp.
