English Regency Mahogany Lazy Susan, Rotary Display Turntable, Large Scale
Located in Stamford, CT
English Regency mahogany Lazy Susan, rotary display turntable, dating to the Regency period, circa 1830. Of generous scale proportion at 20 inches diameter. Superb figuring accentuates this generously wide Lazy Susan. Displays a desirable aged patina and is in good working order. Cut from a fine grained piece of mahogany, with warm caramel hues that catch the light and glow with warmth. This piece shows incredible craftsmanship, the rim of the disc is hand carved out of the single board of mahogany, very difficult to do by hand. Rotates smoothly upon a stout turned column over wide tripod base. Very stable. This is a delightful antique Lazy Susan...

William Ridgway English Staffordshire Transferware Platter, Flosculous Pattern
Located in Philadelphia, PA
A black on white transfer printed floral platter in the Flosculous pattern, William Ridgway & Co., Shelton, Hanley, Staffordshire England, circa 1830-1854. A gently scalloped black-printed platter in an unusual borderless pattern. Alternating floral sprays extend outward — from a three part scroll motif in the center — up the well and onto the rim of the plate. The term ‘flosculous’ means having flowerets or composite-flowered. This stylized pattern feels very modern. 19 in. L x 15.25 in. W x 1.75 in H A printed urn...
