Out of Order – an innovative LED light fixture that visualizes the transition from a repetitive robotic order to a disordered structure created out of ‘free will’ by the industrial robot.
The ultra lightweight cylindrical construction consists solely of wound industrial yarn, reinforced with resin, that resembles a three-dimensional play of lines suspended in space.
Atelier Robotiq is a Rotterdam based design company founded by Søren Blomaard and
Anne-Lise Heydra.
Their different backgrounds combining robotics, aerospace engineering, product design and fine arts leads to unexpected and exciting products.
For their mesmerizing Fiber Pattern Lamp series they experiment using an Aerospace fiber winding technology and an industrial robot for weaving light...
