Elias Canneman (1933-1970) is the name of a former chief architect of the Dutch National Trust for Historic Buildings. He was trusted with extensive projects after the Second World War, such as the Belfry of Sluis, Walenburg Castle, Duivenvoorde Castle, the New Church and the Markiezenhof. Canneman was also especially sympathetic to the fate of traditional Dutch chandeliers. He provided Brink & van Keulen with advice about the yellow casting craft and recommendations regarding maintenance and restoration.
Commanding yet refined, the majestic three-tier Canneman 170.2 chandelier modernizes antique opulence with 18 gracefully arching brass arms. Crafted by hand in the atelier of Brand van Egmond, this chandelier is available in a chandelier conical and chandelier conical oval. With the optional finishes in nickel and white, the models can be ordered in different dimensions to perfectly suit the interior. Custom dimensions and finishes are possible upon request.
