Pepe Mendoza, Freeform, bronze and enamel lamps …a pair
By Pepe Mendoza
Located in West Palm Beach, FL
A pair of bronze and inlaid enamel lamps in wonderful turquoise and blue hues.. the lamps are in original condition and depending on taste, somebody may want to polish the bronze. The lamps show beautifully and when lit the light enhances the color and shape .. creating a modernist form that is very appealing. Please refer to the photos for the stamped signature on both lamps. We believe the lamps have their original sockets … They have been rewired in a nice French wiring...

Organic Modern Sconce Polished Finish Handmade Porcelain Globe Horsehair Tassel

It uses a low-watt LED light that lasts up to 18 years and saves 90% of energy consumption. Brass with black finish and polished brass, hand made porcelain globe...

Bronze and Red Art Deco Sconce
By Loyzaga
Located in Mexico, Ciudad de México
This Sconce is made in bronze, forged by Mexican craftsmen in Mexico City. It is a new piece added to the collection, inspired in the glamour and layered shapes of the golden age. The objects in this collection inspire elegance with a unique style, using defined and contrast lines, symmetrical shapes, frames and round contours, organized in a certain rhythm. We employ woods such as ebony and mahogany, as well as colorful marbles and inlays in bronze. Each piece was designed with utmost attention to detail, combined with the work of Mexican artisans known for their superb craftmanship. We found inspiration in nature, architecture, gilded age, ancient cultures and primitive arts. Art Deco has many faces...

Art Deco Style Brass Table Lamp with Painted Brass Shade
By Loyzaga
Located in Mexico, Ciudad de México
Brass table lamp with painted red brass shade. This lamp is in a style that we call eclectic historical, combining Egyptian, Roman, English and neo classical elements. The history of eclectic style spans all the way back to the 18th century. The word eclecticism actually comes from the Greek word “eklektikos.” It was commonly used in philosophy and encouraged picking the best doctrines from multiple schools of thought, then combining them to create a completely unique school of thought, specific to the person choosing the doctrines. The influence of the ancient cultures...

Ambient cylinder shaped onyx table lamp
Located in Stratford, CT
Although there are a few other places in the world where the semi-precious stone Onyx exist, we found our collection in Mexico. A Bit Of Information On The Semi-Precious Stone Onyx. While it is often thought of as the black gemstone capable of transforming negative energy in positive energy, onyx is in fact a multicolor stone resulting from the metamorphism of limestone rich in Magnesium and Calcium, a process that takes thousands of years. During these years, climate change, natural disasters and wildlife have contributed to the various colors of each layer of sediments. In its primary stage, the rock does not reveal its beauty. However, once it is cut, carved, shaped and polished, the outcome is breathtaking. There is simply no designer like Mother Earth herself. We have been very grateful to visit two workshops where the stones are sliced, cut, carved, or otherwise shaped into their final forms. Watching these artisans covered in thick layers of dust, handling these blocks of stone was truly fascinating. A Word About the Onyx Lamps An onyx lamp is intrinsically beautiful. But when the light comes on, words cannot describe the magic. Pictures cannot capture its beauty. Our business is known primarily for selling the entire collection of Serge Mouille lighting in the USA. In our journey to find another exciting lighting product, we could not have found lamps that are more contrasting to the Mouille lamps. The onyx lamp is translucent and colorful, heavy, centered and stable, the perfect ambient lamp. The Mouille lamp on the other hand is elongated, thin, elegant, either black or white, weighs less than a feather and diffuses a bright functional light. Yet, they are both organic, eye-catching, gorgeous, and timeless. In fact, they complement each other very well. This is an all Onyx cylinder shaped...
