The backplates are cast with a ribbon-tied motif, integrating decorative metalwork with hand-painted porcelain elements.
Each sconce has two curved metal arms adorned with clusters of porcelain flowers in shades of blue, yellow, pink, and green. The individually sculpted blossoms are applied to the tole framework, which is painted in deep green tones to resemble foliage.
