To visually signify the company’s 10th anniversary, in 2006 e15 exchanged the e15 signal orange with gold. It symbolised the censure after this first decade of e15 and at the same time the transition into the next few years of our work. As a special product for the anniversary e15 presented the light SEAM ONE as a limited edition piece, which in its gold finish bridges the gap to our collection. The object by British designer Mark Holmes has been awarded several times (for example, IF-Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, Wallpaper* Editors Award) and has been part of the e15 collection since 2003. The light SEAM ONE is an elegant and contemporary interpretation of the classic table light whose sculptural body is a direct result of its clear lines and accurate folding. At the heart of the design is the aim to keep the number of components to a minimum, the construction as simple as possible, the proportions as balanced as possible and the light as strong as possible – requirements, product specific, which as such are at the heart of all e15 furniture pieces.
