This vintage Moroccan floor covering is a 12x17 Tuareg mat from the nomadic tribe of the same name. Handwoven with reeds and leather circa 1950-1960, its natural materials enjoy warm brown, beige and red tones in its geometric patterns.

Connoisseurs will admire Tuareg mats as distinct works with their own rich history and unique, masterful craftsmanship. This design is also one of few in its kind to favor a minimalist approach to the primitivist Berber geometric patterns.
