Fabulous vintage Modern Shaver Howard slatted steel back dining or side chairs with greige tweed seat cushions a set of 4. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, the seats have been professionally cleaned; however, a few stubborn stains remain, and they will eventually need to be reupholstered. The set is priced accordingly. Slatted Steel and Marvelous Modern Appeal!!! This is a FABULOUS set of four dining or side chairs by Shaver Howard composed of incredible clear coated steel frames with straight front and splayed back legs which also create the outer edge of the slatted backs, and they are wearing a greige (beige/gray) textured tweed fabric that will eventually need reupholstered. We never think of that as a negative aspect because we LOVE new fabrics… and think of the ENDLESS and incredible possibilities! Upon our extensive research we were able to confirm that this set was created prior to 1980 when Shaver Howard became Johnston Casuals...
