Bright colorful oil on canvas painting by Juan Carlos Lasser. Selvatico II (wild, rough, jungle, primative). Lasser studied at the Mutualidad de Estudiantes y Egresados de Bellas Artes (MEEBA). Since 1973, the painter of abstract, colorfully expressive paintings has exhibited his works in solo and group exhibitions in his native Argentina as well as in Singapore, Korea, Cuba, Uruguay, Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria and the USA. The exhibition venues included the "Galería Atica", the "Fundación Banco Patricios", the "Galería de Arte Tema" and the "Galería Van Eyck" in Buenos Aires, the "Art Gallery" in Washington DC and the "Sicardi-Sanders Gallery" in Houston, Texas. In the course of his life, he received various awards for his artistic work. He was awarded the Grand Prize of Honour of the LXXXI Salón Nacional de Artes Plásticas. In 1990 he also received the First Prize for Painting from the Salón Municipal de Artes Plásticas Manuel Belgrano.
