Pearl and Emeralds. This elegant and classic combination takes on a different effect when supersized to this proportion. Chanel sticks to her established idioms and uses 3 strands of off-shaped and baroque pearls and beads for this massive sautoir interpreted for her by Gripoix.
Each pearl and emerald pate de verre bead is hand formed and wire wrapped for strength. Some of the flawed emerald beads have been fluted before cooling and some have been left round. The nonchalance of this is genius. These beads are quite heavy and also very striking as are the earrings.

A commemorative coin featuring the iconic she-wolf, affectionately nurturing the infant twins Romulus and Remus. This striking depiction honours the legendary foundation of Rome, a timeless tale intertwined with the identity of Constantine the Great as he sought to solidify his stature as the supreme ruler of the Empire.
According to the revered myth, Romulus and Remus, children of the god Mars and the vestal Rhea Silvia, a descendant of Aeneas, were abandoned in the wild and suckled by a she-wolf. As they grew, the twins founded Rome, but a dispute over which hill to build upon led to Remus's tragic death. The enduring "wolf and twins" motif has graced countless Roman coins since the Republic era, symbolising Rome's origins and resilience.
Considered one of the first ever commemorative coins, this piece by Constantine the Great was likely a strategic celebration of Rome. Amazing necklace by the French house Césarée, made in the 1990s. The piece is composed of multiple chains of beige jasper natural stone beads cascading from a rigid antique bronze ring. At the lower ends of these chains, there is a polygonal metal bead with ethnic decorations. The focal point is a large central stone medallion, adorned with a triangular bronze decoration of small circles with embossed patterns. The combination of the stone's hue with the warmth of the patinated metal creates a visually rich contrast, making it an ideal accessory for any outfit.
