I bought this clock many years ago and it was New, Old Stock at the time. In fact somewhere I should have the original box for it. But, do not hold me to it as I have no idea where it actually is.
The Heuer Racing Clock is a dashboard chronograph that was first introduced in 1963. The clock was designed by Jack Heuer in collaboration with the Porsche design team. Jack Heuer wanted to create a clock that was both stylish and functional, and the Racing Clock was a huge success.
The Clock is housed in a large, 80mm diameter case that is made of durable stainless steel. The clock has a black dial with large, white numerals and hands that are easy to read at a glance. The clock also features a tachymeter bezel, which can be used to calculate speed and distance.
The TAG Heuer Racing Clock was powered by a Valjoux Calibre 72 movement, which is a reliable and accurate chronograph movement. The movement was also used in other popular TAG Heuer watches...

This is am impressive wall clock sold by one of the premier American jewelry houses. Remarkably it comes with its original box, in excellent condition.
Black, Starr and Frost are considered America's oldest jewelry house. They merged with Gorham, one of America's oldest silver companies in 1929. Just in time for the Great Depression. This clock, or rather weather station as it is normally called, appears to have never been used. It was likely made in Switzerland of the finest materials some time mid century. Gothic in style while dating to later part of the Art Deco Era This would be an impressive piece in entry of an elegant old home. Or, conversely it would look great in an ultra modern entry...
