This is a rare model by the legendary American House of Hamilton, from Lancaster Pennsylvania. This watch was presented in 1932 to the winner of an amateur Skeet Shooting Contest in 1932 in Dayton Ohio. It is in excellent original condition and is still fitted with an original period strap and buckle, however the strap is too fragile to wear all the time so we put a new lizard strap on it and the original buckle. This great looking Art Deco Watch was produced by the legendary house of Gruen. This watch still has an original flawless dial and original factory hands as well. We seldom see this model and never in this condition. The watch is dependable and easy to service. In the 1930's, we became Gruen agents in Los Angeles California. Gruen was a great company to work with because they had a large collection, great styling, they were innovative and offered great service to their customers. This is the only example of this watch we have ever seen. It is sad that they could not, like so many other American Watch Companies, withstand the Swiss and Japanese marketing.
Founded in 1894 by Dietrich Gruen. The company had their American base in Cincinnati, Ohio, and it produced a wide variety of watches, including pocket watches, wristwatches, and chronographs. Gruen watches were
known for their high quality and stylish designs, and they were

You can only get this rating when all the mechanical parts are original.
The diamond bezel is hand made to our specifications and watch meets all the rigorous standards of a Rolex.
