Saint-Louis French Crystal Water Pitcher
Bubbles
By Saint Louis
Located in LA CIOTAT, FR
A supremely elegant Saint-Louis crystal carafe, or water pitcher, from the 'Bubbles' collection, and dating from around 1985. This hand-crafted jug features the hallmark dotty 'bubble' engravings on the body of the jug, as well as the stack of crystal 'marbles' forming the stem. A prominent and well- proportioned handle and finely shaped spout complete the design. One of the most celebrated manufacturers of crystal glass in the world, Saint-Louis has been producing high-quality crystal since 1586 in the Saint-Louis-les- Bitche region of Moselle, in north-eastern France. This very attractive piece of crystalware would make a very decorative and useful antique piece for the modern dinner table.

Robert Picault Vallauris France Ceramic Olive Pot Mid Century
By Robert Picault
Located in Lège Cap Ferret, FR
Robert Picault (1919 - 2000)
French ceramist in Vallauris
Robert Picault has contributed to the revival of culinary ceramics by updating traditional local forms decorated with lines and geometric designs.
His identity style has been a great success and continues to decorate the table today. His personal pieces are sought after by art collectors.
A former student of the School of Applied Arts in Paris, Robert Picault arrived in Vallauris in 1946. He created with his school friends Roger Capron (1922-2006) and Jean Derval (1925-2010), the Callis workshop.
In this village of a hundred potters, they met the neighboring ceramists André Baud, the 4 potters and among others the Madoura workshop, where he frequented the famous painter Picasso from 1949 to 1955. He also became friends with Jean Cocteau, Fernand Léger, Louis Aragon and Elsa Triolet.

18th Century Italian Baroque Gilded Ewer Repoussé Copper Liturgical Jug
Located in Milano, MI
A stunning Italian gilt copper ewer dating back to 18th century with a circular body featuring a quadripartite decoration defined by the repoussé of a double vertical ribbed frame that frames tableaux decorated with floral scrolls; the background of these sections is finely dotted by chisel tool to underline a very pleasant relief to the embossed parts thanks to the burnishing.
An excellent and unique hand-made pitcher, selected in a private collection of Northern Italy.
This rare golden jug was created to serve wine during the Eucharistic celebration, the Christian liturgical practice. it is an Italian work of art that dates back to 1700, with a wonderful fire gilding, for collectors. In good age related condition regardless of a small dent in the middle part of the body, consistent with the eighteenth-century dating.
The cast handle takes up the motif of the volutes present on the body of the ewer. The spout is closed by a hinged lid with a small floral knob, with minimal deformations near the hinge compromising its perfect closure.
In the upper part, there are welding signs...
