Large Vintage Robert Heritage Mid Century Teak, Afromosia and Sapele sideboard
By Robert Heritage, Archie Shine
Located in Highclere, Newbury
A very large Vintage Mid Century Teak, Afromosia and Sapele Knighstbridge sideboard/credenza designed by Robert Heritage for Archie Shine.
Standing at just over 244cm in length the Knightsbridge really was the Grand Daddy of all Heritage’s amazing sideboards; not to mention the combination of wood that gave it a wonderfully aesthetic appeal. It’s therefore a long sideboard that would naturally suit a large room or hallway.

But in addition, Heritage has finished the main doors off in Sapele which is a lighter cross cut Mahogany variant that creates a ribbon grain effect as it catches the light – the doors can therefore look lighter or darker in colour as you walk around the piece.
As regards storage, there’s a lot on offer. The sideboard has 4 large drawers with beautifully detailed handles and with stylised ribbed fronts – and then there are two sets of doors which reveal two large two tier storage...
