The color scheme in this kilim are warm Southwestern colors and the beautiful colors of the sugar maple trees in the New England area during the autumn season in the United States. The kilim is a flat woven rug so both sides of the rug can be used. The vintage kilims tend to have a lighter side (the side that has been exposed to light over the years) and one with the darker colors.
