Torsion in Clear 22/09, abstract sculptural handblown glass vessel by Emma Baker
By Emma Baker
Located in London, GB
'Torsion in Clear 22/09' is a unique sculptural artwork by the British artist, Emma Baker.
Emma Baker has worked with glass for over ten years, initially encountering the material whilst studying Applied Arts at Bournemouth University, she received her BA (hons) from Sunderland University in 2014.
Her passion for learning and understanding the material has driven her to work with an abundance of glassmakers in a variety of locations. In 2019 she became one of two Associate Artists at North Lands Creative, a two-year programme supporting & developing the practice of glass artists. She spent 2020 living and working in Bergen, Norway, keeping the furnace alight at S12 Galleri og Verksted, an incredible experience that Baker describes as a pivotal point in her life and career. In the summer of 2022, the United Nations’ year of glass, she was invited by the National Glas Museum in Leerdam, Holland, for an international glass exchange to create work that is now held in their public collection.
She has been awarded residencies at Berlin Glas, The Glass Factory, S12 Bergen and North Lands Creative; alongside this her work has been shown across the UK & Europe, most recently at the Crafts Council’s Collect 2023, London. She has received scholarship funding to the USA and has worked on international cross-cultural projects...

Pair of Cloisonné Enamel Decorated and Silver Gilt Eggs
Located in London, GB
Pair of cloisonné enamel decorated and silver gilt eggs
Russian, 20th Century
Height 7cm, diameter 5cm
This duo of Russian antique eggs, artfully hand-fashioned from gilded silver and bedecked with painstakingly rendered cloisonné enamel, serve as proud emblems of the nation's rich lineage of gem-studded eggs.
Crafted from sterling silver, as attested by the coveted '84' zolotnik stamp, each egg gleams with a seductive sheen, their interiors revealing the full splendour of gilded silver.
The enamel floral arabesques, a hallmark of Russian craftsmanship, undulate elegantly across the egg's shell in an intricate ballet. These arabesques are arranged in a patterned circular band around the eggs, with larger circular, floral emblems taking centre stage in the body of the pieces. The bold blues of the enamel - in varying shades, from azure to navy - are offset by vibrant ruby red accents, making for an arresting visual contrast.
Deeply rooted in a vibrant cultural tradition, these Russian eggs...

Polychromatic Interleave 006, is a unique handblown glass vessel with fine filigree white cane detail by the British artist Liam Reeves. Liam Reeves has been making glass professionally since 1998 when he graduated from Middlesex University with a BA (Hons) in three-dimensional design. During this time he has honed his skills whilst working in the glass industry for some of the best glassmakers in the UK. Korean Glass with Gold 9, a Sculpture in porcelain and glass by Choi Keeryong
By Choi Keeryong
Located in London, GB
Korean Glass with Gold 9 is a unique sculpture by the South Korean artist Choi Keeryong. Created from cast and cut glass combined with porcelain, the piece is finished with elegant details in gold lustre.
Keeryong is a South Korean artist based in Scotland. His work is informed by his investigations into the similarities and cultural differences that we all experience in relation to the objects around us in contrast to where we live. Something he is has personally experienced living in another country.
In this collection, Keeryong has developed a process using the ancient Korean ‘Saggam’ pottery technique, which allows him to explore a state of ambiguity created for the viewer’s visual experience. Using delineating geometric patterns and counterfeit letters (meaningless Korean words) he combines his glass with found English teapots...

Contemporary Jesmonite Vessel, Acacia by Malgorzata Bany

Contemporary Jesmonite Vessel - Acacia by Malgorzata Bany.
ACACIA vessel takes inspiration from daily cleansing rituals and the process of natural decay. The construction of these pieces is a very intuitive process of carving away the material and by doing so the foam mould is created.
In such way every mould can be used only once and every piece is complitely unique. In addition, the richly textured body of acacia vessel has been inspired by Japanese Tsukubai...

White 3D Printed Ceramic Sculptural Vase Italy Contemporary, 21st Century
By Andrea Salvatori
Located in London, GB
"Composizione 40100 #08" (Sarabanda), 2019, glazed earthenware, measures: H 38 x 40 x 40cm
Andrea Salvatori (Italy, 1975) is an internationally renowned visual artist working with the ceramic medium to realize often ironic and witty sculptures, sometimes involving a diverse selection of found objects, such as Murano glass vases, Meissen Porcelain miniatures or Ginori period ceramics sourced in flea markets around Europe. Salvatori’s works often begin with these items and proceed by the addition of elements masterfully created by the artist, generating an unexpected semantic shift. The result is unique, encompassing pop culture and kitsch aesthetics: a witty and effective way to turn reality upside-down and at the same time a powerful combination of exquisite craftsmanship and genuine irony.
Andrea Salvatori was born on 3 of March 1975 in Faenza (Ra), Italy; he has graduated at the Istituto d’arte for Ceramic in Faenza in 1995, and he then graduated with a Degree in Sculpture at the Accademia di Belle Arti of Bologna in 2000. During his studies, Andrea learned the secrets of ceramics from the creative duo Bertozzi & Casoni having worked as an apprentice in their studio for many years at the same way as during Renaissance artists learned their practice with their Masters. Since 1997 he had several individual and collective exhibitions. In 2009 he won the first prize at the 56th edition of the prestigious Premio Faenza, the International Contest of Contemporary Art Ceramics, for which he classified second in the prior edition. In 2011 he classified second at the Sidney Myer Fund Australian Ceramic...
