To help narrow things down, I decided to comb through the sale using the lens of French wardrobe essentials, because no one does basics better than the French.
While Paris is, of course, one of the world's most fashionable cities, French women like what they like, and are perfectly happy to wear a blazer, jeans, and ankle boots every day.
