If you haven't already noticed, the summer sale season is underway, and H&M is the latest brand to drop its discounts. While there might be 4277 items in the edit (that's a lot of scrolling), there are plenty of expensive-looking staples to be found and, luckily for you, I'm an experienced scroller and have refined the art of finding those time-tested gems.

My advice for successful sale shopping? First, make a list of pieces you want beforehand, as this will help you to avoid making any rushed, emotion-driven decisions. Second, get specific with your search terms in order to give yourself a more refined edit to shop from. Finally, try not to be swayed by price. It's better to buy something you love and actually need than add to your basket purely because of a good discount.
