Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton Both Wore the #1 Royal Trend
The British royal family as we know it is about to look a lot different. Today, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended their final event as senior members of the royal family. Yes, they are still expected to attend family events, but they won't be there in any official capacity. Plus, today's event for Commonwealth Day also marks a rare joint appearance by both the Sussexes and the Cambridges.
For the service at Westminster Abbey, both Markle and Kate Middleton subscribed to the #1 royal trend that works every single time: monochrome. They both wore monochrome in very different ways, with Markle opting for a green Emilia Wickstead caped dress with a matching hat, and Middleton re-wearing a Catherine Walker coat along with all-red accessories. Middleton's coat could be a sign of solidarity, as she also wore it when she and Markle walked side-by-side into Christmas service in 2018. Scroll down to see how Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton wore the monochrome trend to Commonwealth Day in London.
