Kate Middleton's New Coat Shows That Color Isn't Just For Summer

When it comes to personal style, Kate Middleton is definitely a creature of habit. The Duchess of Cambridge often finds looks, styles or silhouettes that work for her and then wears them on repeat (whether it be floral face masks or a-line dresses).

One such example of Middleton's consistent style is the royal's penchant to red coats. From Christmas Day to more casual occasions, Middleton has been spotted in a red coat more than a few times. Today, the Duchess opted for the shade yet again as she attended the launch of the Hold Still campaign wearing a crimson-hued, floor-length coat by Alexander McQueen.

Looking every bit the sophisticated royal that she is, Middleton paired the brightly-colored coat alongside a white top and black accessories including pumps and a top handle bag. By keeping the rest of her outfit quite minimal, Middleton let the statement coat shine.
