For my December column, I’m sharing a mix of pieces I’ve bought recently and a few still on my wish list. I’ve never been big on full-on party dressing—my style is about investing in pieces you can wear on repeat. I might buy the occasional event piece, but only if it’s truly chic, timeless and works hard in my wardrobe. What I really love are those in-between pieces that can go either way. Corduroy trousers with a striped knit and trainers for the school run; add a stone necklace and ballet pumps and you’re ready for a glass of wine with friends. December dressing can be tricky, so this edit is about staying true to your style rather than dressing just for party season.
