Certain collections are simply destined to sell out. And such has been the case with every new Uniqlo U x Christophe Lemaire drop. Pieces in the S/S 17 range sold out in a mere five minutes, with the S/S 18 line (which officially became available to shop last night at 9 p.m. EST) following a similar course.

The S/S 18 Uniqlo U line is chock-full of the perfect summertime staples—and as Lemaire explains in the lookbook video, the collection was "inspired by this very summery optimistic vibe." So think colorful dresses, lightweight T-shirts and sweaters, and comfortable jeans that will carry you from a leisurely bike ride straight to the beach.

Per the lookbook description, the S/S 18 line has been "crafted for beauty as well as utility, considered for both comfort and convenience. And, "each piece has been thought through from the fabric to the seams to encourage leisure, contentment, and ease."
