These 7 Winter Trends Look So Much Better Secondhand
Sourcing the season's biggest fashion trends secondhand has become a bit of a pastime of mine. There's something I find so satisfying about investing in a directional look through the medium of pre-loved fashion. Back in August, I decided to put my obsession to good use and compile a vintage guide to the summer's biggest trends, and thankfully our lovely readers couldn't get enough, so I'm back again for autumn/winter 2020 to bring you the ultimate shopping guide to the new season styles that look even better secondhand.
Whether it's because of their quality, cut or fabric, I have chosen seven trends that will slip seamlessly into your new season capsule and can easily found on any online vintage boutique. My cold-weather lineup features plenty of outwear staples, cosy knitwear, classic accessories and elevated separates.
Highlights include the quilted coat, which will be your best fashion friend with jeans and boots on chilly evenings; colourful, feel-good cardis which are sure to put a smile on your face during lockdown; and, of course, let's not forget the chicer-than-thou leather loafers, aka our go-to for adding polish to wardrobe basics.
Want to inject a little vintage cool into your new season wardrobe, but don't know where to start? Scroll down to see the trends I'll be buying secondhand this year, plus shop my edit.
