1. Term 

This agreement is valid for ninety (90) days from the date of signing.

• Early withdrawal of any item before the 90-day term will incur a $250 fee per item.
• After the 90-day term, items may either:
• Be retrieved by the consignor.
• Remain with RETYCHE, subject to approval.

If RETYCHE chooses not to retain items beyond the 90-day period, the consignor will be contacted. Items must be picked up within 10 days of notice. If not retrieved, a $25 weekly storage fee per item will apply.

For non-local consignors, returned items will incur a $25 shipping fee (within Canada).

2. Pricing 

RETYCHE will set prices based on comparable current and historical market data, considering style, condition, and brand.

• Final listed prices may be adjusted to account for promotions or third-party marketplace fees.
• All prices are listed in Canadian dollars.

Automatic Discounts

• After 30 days: 10% discount
• After 60 days: 25% discount
• After 90 days: 50% discount or the consignor can pick it up, they must contact  RETYCHE beforehand to retrieve it.

Note: No discount exceptions (ex: for highly coveted items) are evaluated case-by-case and must be approved by RETYCHE.

3. Authenticity 

The consignor guarantees that all items consigned are authentic.

• No pricing will be finalized until an in-person evaluation and authentication is completed 
• If an item is found to be non-authentic or unidentifiable, the consignor must pay a $250 fee to retrieve the item. Otherwise, RETYCHE reserves the right to dispose of the item.
• RETYCHE may reject any item deemed inauthentic.
• A $50–$150 fee will be applied for Entrupy authentication on handbags or accessories priced over $500.

4. Payment 

Payments are automatically issued by cheque or e-transfer beginning on the 15th of each month, and processed within 25 business days for items sold the previous month.

• It is the consignor’s responsibility to follow up with RETYCHE regarding any updates on sales activity or payments. Additionally, once the 90-day consignment period has ended, the consignor must contact RETYCHE to terminate the agreement. RETYCHE is not responsible for initiating follow-ups on behalf of the consignor.

5. Ownership 

The consignor confirms they are the legal owner of all consigned items and have full authority to consign and sell them through RETYCHE.

6. Agreement Terms

Both parties acknowledge that they have read and understood the terms of this agreement.

No amendments may be made without the written consent of both the consignor and RETYCHE.

7. Fees & Commission Structure
RETYCHE’s consignment rates include fees for credit card processing, photography, and shipping & handling. All firm/set prices agreed upon in advance will be stated in writing and may override standard fee structures. RETYCHE may adjust listing prices as needed to meet minimum fee thresholds.

8. Direct Buyout Policy

For items priced to sell between $1 and $3,500, RETYCHE focuses exclusively on direct buyouts instead of traditional consignment. This streamlined model offers consignors a guaranteed payout without waiting for a sale. All buyout payments are processed within 2–3 weeks from the date of item intake and issued via cheque or e-transfer.

9. Accepted Categories

Clothing

• Must be seasonal and in demand in excellent condition, cleaned, and free of damage.
• All items are subject to curation by a RETYCHE associate.
• Some clothing may only be sold in-store, while select items may be featured online.

Shoes 

• Must be seasonal and in demand with minimal signs of wear.
• Final selection at RETYCHE’s discretion.

Accessories and Jewelry

• Fine Jewelry and Watches (designer), Sunglasses, Wallets, Belts, Small Leather Goods & Accessories 

Handbags 

• Accepted brands: Chanel, Hermès, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Dior, and similar luxury labels.
• Includes vintage, current, and select mid-contemporary styles, curated at RETYCHE’s discretion.
