There are 2 types of Chanel bags:

1. Chanel bags from the permanent collection
2. Chanel bags from the seasonal collection Chanel Seasonal Bag

Handbags from the permanent collection are always available. These include the Classic Flap Bag, Reissue 2.55, and the Boy Bag. Bags from the seasonal collection are only temporarily available. Chanel releases around 6 new collections a year. Each collection consists of unique handbags and lasts around 2-4 months. After that, the bags will usually be discontinued, unless they are very popular.
