Grace Wales Bonner is changing the face of fashion one stitch at a time. Having founded her eponymous label in 2014, the Central Saint Martins graduate displays a hybrid of European and Afro-Atlantic approaches within each pioneering design. Incorporating silhouettes which defy conventional Western proportions, the London-based designer tells a story of globalisation and evolving attitudes towards masculinity through tailored separates. Led by influences of music, literature and history, Wales Bonner presents a bold and colourful selection of shirts and T-shirts, while trousers and jackets come in retro-inspired cuts and fits. All in all, Wales Bonner’s soulful tailoring is like music to our ears.
