1) SOLD Modernist nudes painting by Lillian Lent, American, circa 1950s. It is executed on board in it's original frame. It measures 14.5" H x 16.5" W. Lillian Lent lived and worked in the Woodstock Artist colony in New York. She attended the Tyler School of Fine Art in Philadelphia. In 1959, she was awarded first prize for one of her paintings from the Albany Museum. Among some of the galleries to exhibit her work were the Albright Gallery, the Norlyst Gallery, and The Creative Gallery.

Many consider Saito to be one of the most important, if not the most important, contemporary Japanese printmakers of the 20th century. This print is titled "Tosyodai-Ji Nara". The wood grain and rich colors are amazing.
The print is signed in white ink and stamped within the image and titled, dated (1959) and numbered (75/80) in pencil by the artist in the lower margin. This particular image is quite rare and hard to find. A copy of this print can be found in the Museum of fine Arts in Boston.
