What is Consignment?

What You Need to Know Before Consigning

The consignor guarantees that they are the true and lawful owner of any merchandise that is consigned with Couture. The consignor also guarantees that they have agreed to consign 100% authentic merchandise. If you ship your item to us and it is found to be inauthentic, a $50 fee per item will be charged to return it to you.

Due to the large number of consignors, we are unable to notify you when your item sells. You can keep an eye on our website and once your item sells, it will disappear from the website. You can contact our customer service Monday through Saturday from 10-6 with questions about item status and payment. If you are not local, your payment will be mailed automatically.

We no longer accept clothing. All shoes and sunglasses need to be in new or like new condition, and all watches must be in working condition with functioning batteries.

There is no set time frame that we can give for the sale of items, but over 50% of our inventory sells within the first 14 days!

Items must be left with us for a minimum of 90 days to see if they will sell.
Merchandise left beyond the 90 day period are subject to regularly scheduled markdowns. Items left for longer than 12 months may be subject to donation.

Local consignors can pick up a check for their sold items 20 days after the sale during business hours. Online consignors are mailed a check the 20th of the month following the sale of their item.

If we are offering a sale on our inventory, you are still going to receive the original amount that was agreed on in your contract.

If your item is left with us for longer than 90 days, it is eligible for a 10% markdown roughly every 90 days until it sells. If it is given a markdown, you are receiving the percentage of the new markdown price.

If your item does not sell within 90 days, we will give it a 10% markdown to encourage it to sell. If you do not wish to have your item marked down, you can pick it up or have it shipped back to you.

You are responsible for the cost of the return shipping.

If you are local, you can visit our store and our team can collect your item for you. If you are not local, please contact our customer service team by phone at 813-926-9889. We will box up your item and let you know the cost for return shipping. You can make your payment over the phone and your item will be shipped out the next business day.
