The site sparks inspiration and facilitates a transfer from the runway to the living room, making luxury fashion feel attainable and indeed "ready to wear", beyond the spectacle of the FROW. With Net-A-Porter’s sale season dwindling and early signifiers of autumn already landing on site, it should come as no surprise that this is my first stop on my prepping list for the months ahead.

My favourite time for browsing is pre-autumn. I have an affinity for dresses and prefer to invest in styles I’ll have for a lifetime, so seeing versatile frocks arrive on Net-A-Porter always fills me with joy.
