Awesome vintage Neoclassic Revival Arbus King sized sleigh bed with chocolate channeled leather upholstered headboard 6000 Series by Henredon. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, there is a stubborn crease in the leather of one of the channeled panels. Something must have leaned against it for a length of time. All of the usual methods have not worked yet but we are still working on getting the crease out. LOL… This is a GORGEOUS king sized sleigh bed by Henredon Arbus 6000 Series composed of a beautiful book matched burl wood low-profile frame featuring a curved headboard handsomely upholstered in a fantastic channeled chocolate leather. And the attractive-ness doesn’t end with the front of the bed!! This is an all-over beauty!!! The footboard, side rails,
back of the headboard are exquisitely finished bearing a stunning wood grain so, it will float fabulously in any space or conveniently divide your sleeping area from your sitting room… a fantastic option for studio apartments or open concept rooms. Just drop in your own king-sized mattress and you are ready to comfortably snooze in SUPREME style!!! So, you may notice in the photographs that it has a stubborn crease in one of the leather panels. Something leaned against it for a while and it isn’t responding to our usual methods so, we photographed it for listing purposes but we are still working on getting that crease out! It stands BOLD

Henredon Furniture Company was founded in 1945 in Morganton, North Carolina by four Drexel Heritage executives; T. Henry Wilson, Ralph Edwards, Donnell VanOppen, and Sterling Collet. The name Henredon is a combination of their names. These four men were determined to build furniture of custom exceptional quality, and their original offering was only three chests. Through the years they engaged with well-known designers to create their unique and fine furniture with iconic names such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Ralph Lauren, Dorothy Draper, and Laura Ashley. The company changed ownership several times throughout the years, eventually becoming Heritage Home Group (HHG) in 1986. Then, the original manufacturing operations in North Carolina effectively ceased the brand name around 2013. Following that, HHG, the last parent company under the original model filed bankruptcy in 2018 and the brand name was purchased by Authentic Brands Group (ABG.) While no longer in production, Henredon furnishings are highly sought after superior vintage pieces today.

Talk about Dazzling Danish Dining!!! This is an incredible rectangular shaped teak extension dining table designed by famed Danish artist Henning Kjaernulf for Vejle Stole Mobelfabrik. Magnificent vintage Art Deco Revival monumental hanging light fixture or chandelier comprised of six glass “wing” panels with etched details, brass ferrule, shaft, brackets, and a new brass canopy. “Until you spread your wings, you’ll have no idea how far you can fly.” -Napoleon Bonaparte. This is a marvelous Art Deco Revival monumental hanging light fixture comprised of a unique brass shaft consisting of a cylindrical top and base with three square brass rods between. Each cylindrical end of the shaft has an inner socket that holds a slender tube style bulb which is encased by the square brass rods. Each outer end of the shaft has a round component with six brass brackets surrounding the outer cylinder which hold the “wing” shaped glass panels featuring lovely etched designs. Could be angel wings, butterfly wings, or even fairy wings… that’s up to your imagination!! Either way… It is INCREDIBLE!!! A beautiful brass rod extends up from the “trumpet” shaped ferrule and is attached to the chain, held by a fabulous brass canopy. It is PHENOMENAL to say the least!!! And it’s hardwired so you can use dimming or flickering lightbulbs and add some wonderful ambiance to whatever room you choose to install. And did we mention… it’s HUGE!! It would make a BOLD statement in a high entry way, stairwell, above an over-scaled island in your kitchen, or over a long dining table in a formal dining area. It would also be beautiful in a bedroom or living room. What are you waiting for? Don’t hesitate, time to spread those wings… you can do it...

Aren’t these chairs magnificent???!!! We certainly think so! These are fabulous gray-blue and chrome cantilever chairs made by United Chair Company and they’re in the style of Steelcase. They are comprised of a gorgeous chrome cantilever frame with black plastic armrests, and they wear their original awesome gray-blue and orange fleck tweed fabric with button detail on their backs and seat cushions. The fabric is cool because in different lights, it looks a little different. It’s kind of gray, kind of blue, and has little orange specs throughout… It takes on the color of what you set it with. Super stylish and super comfortable!! We say these chairs are mostly modern, but they would definitely blend in beautifully with Art Deco, mid-century modern, or Bauhaus styles. Gorgeous antique Victorian tall Lincoln style full size bed in solid walnut and walnut burl with footboard and side rails. It is in wonderful original vintage condition. That does not mean it is without beautiful age patina of marks and distressing from over 100 years of use. The very top of the carved crown on the headboard had cracked and broken away and been lost over the years. But one of our staff artisans has hand carved a replacement. It is spectacular. When I was a teenager this high Victorian style of bed is what my mom (a very talented interior designer) put in my bedroom (previously I had a white and pink frilly canopy bed my dad made me) and it remained in her home long after I left. A warrior is one who sacrifices himself for the good of others. His task is to take care of the elderly, the defenseless, those who cannot provide for themselves, and above all, children- the future of humanity. This is a magnificent vintage Chinese warrior or Guan Yu sculpture comprised of stunning rosewood with intricately hand carved details and a removeable guandao (Chinese pole weapon). In Chinese culture, General Guan Yu represents loyalty and valor. People believe that by having his image in art or sculpture in their home will protect their family from harm. And while we don’t believe he is going to break out with any actual martial arts moves; his fearless presence commands the room and demands attention! You may notice that in some of the photos our warrior friend is holding his guandao upside-down, don’t judge! Even the best of warriors tend to get exhausted from a long day of defending humanity and protecting mankind. A guy can get a little turned around! Just look at his expression… he is OVER it!! His hand is even up gesturing as if to say, “Talk to the hand!” LOL!! He is handsomely dressed from head to toe in full body armor and his long beard or Fu Manchu is flowing in the breeze. He stands proud upon a rounded square base at about 24 inches tall, so he is definitely larger scale, he will be fabulous in ANY room of your home, and he is the EPITOME of Chinoiserie excellence! What a beautiful biomorphic BEAST!!!! WOW!!! This is a marvelous vintage mid-century modern style coffee table comprised of a black painted wood base and a biomorphic or kidney shaped glass top in the style of Kroehler, Adrian Pearsall, or Tonk Manufacturing Company. This savvy little coffee table certainly took us on a wild goose chase that I’m not sure is completely over! You can find this table all over the internet attributed to Adrian Pearsall. It is NOT designed by him. Of that we are sure. But definitely in his style so it is easy to see where the misattribution comes from. It is also attributed to Valentine Seever, which is not a single person but two last names. And it may have been promoted by them as they were a division of Kroehler Manufacturing Co. It has also been attributed to Tonk Manufacturing Co., best known for their antique piano and organ swiveling stools; but we have not found actual proof of that. My mother (a “veteran” vintage...
