This end table is much like “that little black dress,” it just works!!! Simple, classic, and timeless!! This is a GORGEOUS rosewood square occasional or end table by Knud Joos for Jason Mobler. Just take another look at the FABULOUS woodgrain on the SOLID rosewood tabletop!! It is stamped under the tabletop however… the black ink stamp has faded and is barely noticeable. The frame is comprised of straight 3/8 inch slightly brushed chrome solid steel square legs and four anodized aluminum cylindrical supports float the top. Its minimalist design is sleek, sophisticated, and absolutely STUNNING!! The quintessential Scandinavian Modern style is sure to be a focal point in any room of your home. Place this beauty next to a wonderful lounge chair as a perfect spot to set your beverage (under a coaster of course!!!) Knud Joos was born in 1928 and passed away in 2008. He was a creative Danish architect and designer best known for his minimalist table designs and was part of Vilhelm Wohlert’s studio, the architect behind Denmark’s most famous museum, the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.

Hibriten actually had 2 companies- Hibriten Furniture Co, and Hibriten Chair Co. Both located in Lenoir, N. C. Hibriten Furniture was founded in the 1920’s by Orrin Robbins and Hibriten Chair Co. was founded a few years later by Robey Robbins. Hibriten Chair Co. was well known for its extremely high quality of solid mahogany or walnut French reproductions and other styles of furniture. Hibriten became a part of Bernhardt Furniture in the 1950-1960’s with their president George C. Robbins and was eventually purchased by Bernhardt sometime in the early 1970’s. Such an awesome bar stool by A. Brandt!! This stool is comprised of rustic solid ranch oak with an Acorn Brown finish that is signature to A. Brandt Company furniture. Acorn Brown was made by applying an oil stain before sealing the wood. After lacquering, Acorn Brown wax was applied. And this stool wears it well!! It’s just what you need at the end of your rustic, western, or industrial style bar, but it would also be perfect at a tall game or bar style table. This fabulous stool has a solid ranch oak base with an iron ring stretcher joining its four splayed legs which makes it extra sturdy and mirrors the sultry dark brown round and rotating cushioned vinyl seat. When I saw this lovely pair of little side tables I knew I had to have them to offer to you. I know you have just the spot to place them. They are square and Parsons style with frames made of rectangular chrome tube which is nicely welded and polished. They have a white cane and glass insert for the top. I have seen these attributed to Milo Baughman, but I do not believe that to be true. However, they are somewhat in his style with the combination of the chrome and cane. No matter who designed or made this pair they are handsome and handy little end tables. Place them side by side as a small cocktail table or split them up. They are the perfect spot to set a drink while relaxing in your favorite chair or napping sofa...

Handsome Scandinavian Modern Arne Jacobsen Series 7 black & chrome office chair designed by Fritz Hansen. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage & not new so will have signs of use and wear. There are a few dents & nicks as you would expect with age & wear. It has been touched up & has a new coat of urethane. Please see photos & zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa 1993.

Sculptural, functional, and comfortable! The Series 7 chair was designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in 1955 and is an icon in modern furniture history. The Fritz Hansen website states that the chair is made from 9 layers of pressure molded veneer for strength, flexibility, and durability despite its slender form. This one was made in 1993 and it is comprised of a molded black painted plywood seat which is uniquely shaped for the human body. Ergonomically enjoyable!! It has the chrome four-star leg base with chromed hooded wheel casters. It’s incredibly versatile, with unique character and unmatchable comfort. It is manually adjustable in height, and it swivels! It will make the perfect office or desk chair in your Scandinavian Modern or mid-century modern style home office or den.
Fritz Hansen was founded in 1872, when Fritz Hansen, a Danish carpenter, founded his own furniture company and in 1915 introduced his first chair in steam bent wood. In 1934, Fritz Hansen began his collaboration with Arne Jacobsen resulting in some of the famous, classic icons of Danish Design including the “Ant” in 1952, the Series 7 in 1955, the Grand Prix in 1957, the Swan in 1958, and the Egg in 1958. Other famous collaborations have resulted in Piet Hein’s super-elliptical table from 1968 and in 1982 Fritz Hansen acquired the rights to a major part of Poul Kjaerholm’s furniture collection.
