Fantastic and Ficks Reed!!! This is a gorgeous large square coffee table by John Wisner for Ficks Reed. It is comprised of a stout rattan base, and it features a wonderful white tile top including four tiles with black painted Asian designs of fans and symbols… it’s absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! This coffee table is from Ficks Reed’s Far Horizons collection by John Wisner which was introduced in 1954. It is designed with sturdy and stylish crossbars with rattan ties on the corners on all four sides of the coffee table. And the design of this awesome Campaign style coffee table is classic allowing it to work with many decor aesthetics and styles from traditional to mid-century modern. 24-Piece Collection of Blue Niloak Midcentury Pottery

Handsome 24-piece collection of bright blue Niloak midcentury pottery. They are all in fabulous vintage condition apart from the small glossy glazed Dutch shoe. It sounds like it is cracked but I cannot visually see a crack. The rest appear to have no chips, cracks, or chiggers, and very light crazing if any. Please see photos. We are selling this as a complete 24-piece set. Five pieces are not marked. They are noted in the list, circa 1937-1947.
Holy cow! Blue, blue, my love is blue……! I had never seen this much Niloak in one place before obtaining this collection. And all in one color. It is so gorgeous! What better way for you to jump right into the blue trend in decorating. These will be incredible whether you display them all together in one place or scatter them about. Someone spent years at and put in a lot of love into gathering these beauties. Please see below for list and sizes.
Niloak is a line of pottery which was produced in Benton, Arkansas by Eagle Pottery Company. Eagle was found in 1890s by Charles Dean Hyten and his brothers. By 1904 Eagle was the largest pottery-ware business in the Benton area. Then in 1909 Arthur Dovey joined Hyten, by then the sole owner, to develop an operation to produce art pottery. Thus, began Niloak. The name Niloak is the spelling of kaolin reversed. Kaolin is the main ingredient of porcelain. Niloak was and is best known for their Swirl pottery resembling marbled paper. Then in 1932 Niloak transitioned from hand thrown products to slip-cast and mold-pressed production which was spearheaded by Stoin M. Stoin. These 62 Hywood shapes were simply marked on the bottom Niloak. Beginning in 1939 new shapes were added that provided a lip and the bottoms of pieces were able to be glazed. Because of the war effort many materials were regulated which were used in the Niloak glazes and clay, so the recipes were reformulated. After the war regular production resumed and new bright glazes were used. By the end of 1947 Niloak was no more.

Fabulous vintage MCM or Mid-Century Modern “St. Martin Canal” and “France Port de La Rochelle” Bernard Buffet Lithograph framed and matted prints. These vintage prints are signed and dated in the printing process but do not have original pencil signatures. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. These prints remain in their original of-the-era frames, mats and backing. New brown paper has been applied to the back of frames. We found no scratches or nicks to the prints themselves. Frames may show some age. Please see photos and zoom in for details. OOOH LA LA!!!!! Is there anywhere in the world quite as lovely as the city of Paris? It’s definitely a bucket list destination for many people and we have a treat for you! Exquisite scenes of Paris created by French artist Bernard Buffet to display in your own home! We have two mid-century modern unsigned lithograph prints consisting of a larger print of a scene titled “St. Martin Canal” dated 1956, matted inside a lovely black and silver painted wood frame. And a smaller print of a scene titled “France Le Port de La Rochelle” dated 1955, matted inside a wood frame. These mats and frames are original to the prints. The St. Martin Canal is located in the heart of the city just adjacent to the Seine River and today is a popular tourist destination. Can’t you just see yourself standing upon that bridge with the breeze blowing your hair as you gaze upon the beautiful “City of Lights??” Or maybe you would prefer walking along the harbor watching boats come to port as they sail in off of the Atlantic Ocean? That’s exactly what you can imagine as you gaze upon “France Le Port de La Rochelle!” La Rochelle is a city on the west coast of France and a seaport on the Bay of Biscay. Both of these scenic areas are breathtaking, and Buffet captured their beauty with his proficient Expressionist style!!! They are going to be wonderful on any wall and they’re sure to bring a bit of French fabulous-ness into your home!

Wonderful vintage Chinese Chinoiserie dining table comprised of Rosewood & Mother of Pearl (m-o-p) round top with 2 leaves, converting it to a small oval with one leaf and large oval with 2 leaves. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. This Asian style table is in excellent vintage condition with the exception of a small missing piece of m-o-p on the top which we have repaired by filling with wood filler and painting with a pearlized paint. You can still see the spot when looking for it but doesn’t show overall. There was also a nick on the inside edge of one of the leaves that has been filled. The whole top and leaves have been scuffed and given a coat of poly for durability. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Mid-Late 20th Century.

Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The sofa deck has new fabric plus a new dust cover. It also has its original arm covers. We repaired a button with fabric found on bottom. It has been professionally shampooed. Legs were refinished. The foam in the cushions is soft, however it could use some more padding and new zippers. It wears its original hopsacking fabric which is comprised of lovely turquoise and green threads that create a gorgeous dark turquoise hue. It’s a phenomenal color with back button details!! It has four loose seat cushions with soft foam, but they could benefit from a bit more padding which would be easily achieved as they have zippers. Gorgeous Mid-Century Modern Grand Haven dining or accent chair designed by Jack Van Der Molen for Jamestown Lounge Company. Beautiful vintage condition. We had the foam replaced in the original cushion, but it still wears its original blue hopsack fabric. We have deep cleaned the fabric but there are still hints of staining. Hard to find but it is there. I would not be afraid to use it however. The original webbing has been replaced and the wood has been restored to its original glory. However, you may still find small imperfections as it is a vintage piece. Please see photos, circa 1950s-1960s

Jack Van der Molen is an award-winning gifted American designer of the mid-20th century. He was born in 1922 and is a man of many accomplishment and talents. He was awarded five Battle Stars for his actions during WWII, is a fabulous golfer winning many tournaments, and an excellent watercolorist with work in private and commercial collections. He was educated at Kendall School Design in Grand Rapids. His furniture design work successfully combines organic details with clean lines. He designed several lines of furniture for Jamestown Lounge Co. including “Americana Casual”. He even won the coveted House Beautiful Magazine “Best Chair of the Year” award for his “Grand Haven” chair for Jamestown in 1959. In addition, he collaborated with Dupont initiating use of polyester fiber in upholstered furniture. His 61 years designing for top manufacturers is celebrated by how desirable and sought after his designs are today.
Jamestown Lounge Company of Jamestown, New York was founded in 1888 by four partners. They first manufactured, obviously from their name, only lounges. These were long armless, backless, upholstered pieces with a hard roll at one end…what my mother always called a “fainting couch”.
